Effect of information-based pharmaceutical intervention on rational application of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in cardiology department
Objective To guide the use of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in cardiology department patients by information technology and pharmaceutical intervention,so as to provide a basis for clinical rational drug use. Methods A total of 384 patients hospitalized in the cardiology department of our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group(188 cases, from July to December 2022)and intervention group(196 cases, from January to June 2023).The control group was treated according to the routine clinical pathway of our hospital, and the intervention group was treated with information technology and pharmaceutical intervention on the basis of the routine clinical pathway. The hospitalization time, expenses(total hospitalization expenses, drug expenses and Chinese patent medicine expenses),clinical rational use and adverse reactions of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis were compared between the two groups. Results The drug expenses and Chinese patent medicine expenses of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no significant differences in hospitalization time and total hospitalization expenses between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis between the two groups(P>0.05).The number of unreasonable medical orders in the intervention group was less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.000).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis(P=0.327).Conclusion Through the combination of information technology and pharmaceutical intervention, the expense of drugs can be reduced to a certain extent and the rational use of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis can be improved, which is feasible.
