Research progress of nosocomial infection during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation
Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)is a cardiopulmonary bypass device consisting of a vascular cannula,pump,and artificial lung,it can be used for temporary life support in patients with severe respiratory and circulatory failure.Infection is a common complication during ECMO support,which affects the therapeutic effect of patients and is not conducive to the prognosis.Therefore,this article reviews the problems related to nosocomial infection during ECMO support.
