Research status and application prospect of ultrasound-guided treatment of peripheral nerve entrapment syndrome
Peripheral nerve entrapment syndrome(PNES)is a common chronic disease that can cause severe pain and dysfunction. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the study of ultrasound-guided treatment of PNES.Current studies have shown that ultrasound-guided injection techniques can significantly reduce pain and improve body function in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome. This treatment method has the advantages of non-invasive,safe,accurate and repeatable, and has been widely used in clinical practice. In the future, with the continuous development of ultrasound technology and treatment methods, the application prospect of ultrasound-guided treatment of PNES will be broader. However, further research is still needed to improve the application specifications of such therapies and confirm the clinical efficacy and safety. This article reviews the research status and application prospects of ultrasound-guided treatment of PNES,aiming to provide a reference for clinical treatment options.
