Effect of acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation in the adjuvant treatment of bronchial pneumonia in children and its influences on sputum inflammatory factors, immune function and pulmonary function
Objective To observe the effect of acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation in the adjuvant treatment of bronchial pneumonia in children and its influences on sputum inflammatory factors, immune function and pulmonary function. Methods A total of 90 children with bronchial pneumonia admitted in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment such as ambroxol hydrochloride, and the observation group was treated with acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The disappearance time of fever, cough, pulmonary rales and wheezing in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6)and surfactant protein D(SP-D)in the two groups decreased, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the regulatory T cells(Treg)in the two groups increased, the T-helper type 17(Th17)and complement C3 and C4 levels decreased, and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced vital capacity(FVC),maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)in the two groups increased, and those in the observation group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation in the adjuvant treatment of bronchial pneumonia in children has a better effect, which can promote the improvement of symptoms, reduce inflammation, enhance immune function and effectively improve pulmonary function.
