Application effect of modified facial expression exercise + ultrashort wave combined with mecobalamin in peripheral facial neuritis
Objective To explore the application effect of modified facial expression exercise + ultrashort wave combined with mecobalamin in peripheral facial neuritis. Methods A total of 100 patients with peripheral facial neuritis admitted from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given drug treatment, and the observation group was given modified facial expression exercise + ultrashort wave combined with mecobalamin on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, facial nerve function, nerve related indexes and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the House-Brackmann(HB)facial nerve function grading of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF)and nerve growth factor(NGF)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of each dimension of 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey(SF-36)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The modified facial expression exercise + ultrashort wave combined with mecobalamin in the treatment of peripheral facial neuritis has a better effect, which can improve the facial nerve function of patients, regulate nerve-related indicators, and improve the quality of life.
