Evaluation of three-dimensional echocardiography combined with two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging on right ventricular systolic function in uremic hemodialysis patients
Objective To explore the evaluation role of three-dimensional echocardiography(3DE)combined with two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging(2D-STI)on right ventricular systolic function in uremic hemodialysis patients. Methods A tot al of 94 uremic hemodialysis patients admitted in our hospital were selected, including 31 cases of cardiovascular disease(cardiovascular disease group)and 63 cases of non-cardiovascular disease(non-cardiovascular disease group). At the same time,50 healthy objects were selected as control group.3DE and 2D-STI were performed on all objects. The changes of parameters in each group were compared. Results Comparison of right ventricular end-diastolic volume(RVEDV),right ventricular end-systolic volume(RVESV),right ventricular stroke volume(RVSV),3D right ventricular free wall longitudinal strain(3D-RV FWLS)and 2D global longitudinal strain of free wall[2DGLS(F)]in the three groups:the cardiovascular disease group>the non-cardiovascular disease group>the control group(P<0.05).Comparison of 3D right ventricular ejection fraction(3DRVEF),right ventricular fractional area change(RVFAC),tricuspid annulus plane systolic excursion(TAPSE),right ventricular free wall longitudinal strain-basal(RVFWLS-B),right ventricular free wall longitudinal strain-middle(RVFWLS-M),right ventricular free wall longitudinal strain-apical(RVFWLS-AP)in the three groups:the cardiovascular disease group<the non-cardiovascular disease group<the control group(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that cardiovascular disease was positively correlated with RVEDV,RVESV,RVSV,3D-RV FWLS and 2DGLS(F),and negatively correlated with 3DRVEF,RVFAC,TAPSE,RVFWLS-B,RVFWLS-M and RVFWLS-AP(P<0.05).Conclusion The 3DE combined with 2D-3E can be used as an effective way to evaluate right ventricular systolic function in uremic patients.
