Effects of health education based on feedback theory combined with solution-focused model on fear of disease progression and health knowledge, belief and behavior in patients with liver cirrhosis
Objective To explore the effects of health education based on feedback theory combined with solution-focused model on fear of disease progression and health knowledge, belief and behavior in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods A total of 80 patients with liver cirrhosis admitted in our hospital from January 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given health education based on feedback theory combined with solution-focused model on the basis of the control group. The degree of fear of disease progression, health knowledge, belief and behavior, liver function and liver fiber indexes were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Fear of Progression Questionnaire(FoP-Q)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of knowledge, belief and behavior in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST),typeⅢprocollagen(PCⅢ)and typeⅣcollagen(Ⅳ-C)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The health education based on feedback theory combined with solution-focused model can not only reduce the fear of disease progression in patients with liver cirrhosis, improve health knowledge, belief and behavior level, but also control the progress of liver cirrhosis.
