Effects of cluster-continuous nursing model combined with modified kangaroo nursing on the growth and development of premature infants and positive feelings of mothers
Objective To study the effects of cluster-continuous nursing model combined with modified kangaroo nursing on the growth and development of premature infants and positive feelings of mothers. Methods A total of 90 premature infants admitted in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given cluster-continuous nursing model combined with modified kangaroo nursing. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the head circumference, height and weight of preterm infants in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Positive Aspects of Caregiving(PAC)of mothers in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the scores of each dimension of Parent's Perception of Uncertainty Scale(PPUS)were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the Mental Development Index(MDI)and Psychomotor Development Index(PDI)scores of preterm infants in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of neurological function assessment scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The cluster-continuous nursing model combined with modified kangaroo nursing can not only promote the growth and development of premature infants, improve the positive feelings of mothers and reduce their sense of uncertainty, but also effectively improve the intelligence and neurological function development of premature infants, which is worth promoting.
