A case of complex congenital heart disease dominated by Ebstein's anomaly complicated with cerebral infarction
Ebstein's anomaly is a rare complex congenital heart disease, often involves tricuspid valve and right ventricle, probably combines with other intracardiac deformities.Combining with atrial septal defect can lead to paradoxical embolism. This paper reports a 59 year-old female, who was first diagnosed as complex congenital heart disease(Ebstein's anomaly complicated with atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect and membranous ventricular septal aneurysm)due to symptoms of cerebral infarction. There are many causes of cerebral infarction in clinic, and screening the causes is important. This article reviews the diagnosis and treatment process of patients and relevant literature, aiming to improve the understanding of Ebstein's anomaly among clinical physicians, help physicians formulate prevention and treatment strategies, and improve patients'prognosis.
