Effects of compound Kushen injection combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen on immune function and matrix metalloproteinase levels in patients with gastric cancer
Objective To analyze the application effect of compound Kushen injection combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen in patients with gastric cancer. Methods A total of 86 patients with gastric cancer admitted in our hospital from April 2019 to April 2021 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group(FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen)and study group(FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen+compound Kushen injection)according to the random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy,TCM symptom score, serum indexes, bone marrow and immune function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of disease control in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of upper abdominal pain, anorexia, anorexia and mental fatigue in the two groups decreased, and those in the study group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of miR-4485-3p and miR-1469 in the two groups increased, while the levels of matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and matrix metalloproteinase-14(MMP-14)decreased,and those in the study group were better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the platelet count, white blood cell count,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the CD8+was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compound Kushen injection combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy regimen is helpful to improve the serum indexes and immune function of patients with gastric cancer, effectively protect the bone marrow hematopoietic function, and promote the prognosis. It can be further promoted and applied in clinical practice.
