Objective To investigate the effects of Tiaozhong Huashi decoction on immune function and quality of life in patients with gastric cancer after radical operation.Methods A total of 100 patients undergoing gastric cancer radical operation were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment,and the treatment group was given Tiaozhong H uashi decoction on the basis of conventional western medicine treatment.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the TCM syndrome score in two groups decreased,and the Karnofsky Performance Scale(KPS)score increased,and those in the treatment group were better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of each dimension of Piper Fatigue Scale(PFS)in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the treatment group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of each dimension of Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy(FACT-G)in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the treatment group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+in two groups increased,CD8+decreased,and those in the treatment group were better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the treatment group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).The adverse reaction grade in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Tiaozhong Huashi decoction can improve the immune function in patients with gastric cancer after radical operation,improve the quality of life,and has good safety.
