Effect of Sini powder in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy and its influence on vibration perception threshold
Objective To study the effect of Sini powder in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy and its influence on vibration perception threshold(VPT).Methods Eighty patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy admitted in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2023 were included and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment(mecobalamine combined with epalrestat),and the observation group was treated with Sini powder on this basis.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 h postprandial glucose(2 h PG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)in both groups significantly decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome score and Toronto Clinical Scoring System(TCSS)score of both groups significantly decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the VPT significantly decreased and ankle-brachial index(ABI)significantly increased in both groups,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Sini powder in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy has significant effect,which can alleviate clinical symptoms of patients,regulate blood sugar level,repair damaged nerve function,with a high safety.
