Effects of Liuwei Bufei Yishen decoction combined with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation on symptom improvement and quality of life in patients with bronchial asthma
Objective To explore the effects of Liuwei Bufei Yishen decoction combined with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation on symptom improvement and quality of life in patients with bronchial asthma.Methods A total of 150 patients with bronchial asthma admitted from October 2021 to November 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 75 cases in each group.The control group was treated with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation,and the observation group was treated with Liuwei Bufei Yishen decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Asthma Control Test(ACT)score,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in the two groups increased,while the Saint George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ)score,TCM syndrome score,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-5(IL-5)and interleukin-18(IL-18)levels and CD8+decreased,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Liuwei Bufei Yishen decoction combined with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation has a significant effect on bronchial asthma,which can relieve clinical symptoms,reduce inflammation,elevate immune function and improve quality of life.
