Effects of intervention based on Snyder's hope theory model on hope level and self-efficacy of patients with rheumatoid arthritis
Objective To explore the effects of intervention based on Snyder's hope theory model on hope level and self-efficacy of patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A total of 100 RA patients admitted in our hospital from January 1 to December 31,2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given Snyder's hope theory model intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of each dimension and total score of Heath Hope Index(HHI)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Chronic Disease Self-Efficacy Scale(CDSES)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention based on Snyder's hope theory model can improve hope level and self-efficacy of RA patients, reduce their dependence on others, effectively improve the prognosis, and elevate nursing satisfaction, which has clinical promotion value.
