Influences of self-management-oriented 5A nursing model combined with experiential dietary education on self-care behavior and rehabilitation of elderly patients with diabetic kidney disease
Objective To explore the application effect of self-management-oriented 5A nursing model combined with experiential dietary education in elderly patients with diabetic kidney disease.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with diabetic kidney disease admitted from April 2021 to April 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received self-management-oriented 5A nursing model combined with experiential dietary education.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of each dimension of Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activities(SDSCA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and uric acid(UA)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of each dimension of Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOLI-74)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-management-oriented 5A nursing model combined with experiential dietary education can improve the self-care behavior of elderly patients with diabetic kidney disease,and improve the rehabilitation effect and quality of life,which is worth promoting.
