Effect of emotional intervention combined with mindfulness training on negative emotions in pneumoconiosis patients
Objective To explore the application effect of emotional intervention combined with mindfulness training in pneumoconiosis patients. Methods Sixty patients with pneumoconiosis who were admitted in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected and divided into group A and group B by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The group A was given routine treatment and basic nursing, and the group B was given emotional intervention combined with mindfulness training. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of Beck Depression Inventory-Ⅱ(BDI-Ⅱ)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)in both groups decreased, and those in the group B were lower than the group A(P<0.05).After intervention, the forced vital capacity as a percentage of expected value(FVC%),maximal voluntary ventilation as a percentage of expected value(MVV%)and forced expiratory volume in the first second as a percentage of predicted value(FEV1%)in both groups increased, and those in the group B was higher than the group A(P<0.05).After intervention, the 6 minute walk test(6MWT)of the two groups was greater than that before intervention, the Borg score was lower than that before intervention, and those of the group B were better than the group A(P<0.05).Conclusion Emotional intervention combined with mindfulness training can alleviate the negative emotions of pneumoconiosis patients, promote the improvement of lung function and exercise endurance, and alleviate the symptoms of dyspnea.
