Effects of nursing based on behavioral change theory combined with empathy nursing on emotional state and self-consciousness of patients with burn and plastic surgery
Objective To explore the effects of nursing based on behavioral change theory combined with empathy nursing on emotional state and self-consciousness of patients with burn and plastic surgery.Methods A total of 108 patients with burn and plastic surgery admitted from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 54 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received nursing based on behavioral change theory combined with empathy nursing on the basis of routine nursing.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of Hospital Anxiety Depression Scales-Anxiety(HADS-A)and Hospital Anxiety Depression Scales-Depression(HADS-D)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of Self-Esteem Scale(SES)and Self Consistency and Congruence Scale(SCCS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of each dimension of Burn Specific Health Scale-Brief(BSHS-B)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing based on behavioral change theory combined with empathy nursing can improve the emotional state of patients with burn and plastic surgery,elevate self-awareness,reduce the incidence of complications,and improve the quality of life.
