Effect of acarbose combined with rosuvastatin in the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperlipidemia and its influences on glucose and lipid metabolism and oxidative stress response
Objective To investigate the effect of acarbose combined with rosuvastatin in the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperlipidemia and its influences on glucose and lipid metabolism and oxidative stress response. Methods A total of 120 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperlipidemia admitted from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with metformin+rosuvastatin, and the observation group was treated with acarbose+rosuvastatin. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),triacylglycerol(TG)and oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of malondialdehyde(MDA)and 8-iso-prostaglandin F2 α(8-iso-PGF2α)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of endothelin(ET)and circulating endothelial cell(CEC)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of nitric oxide(NO)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acarbose combined with rosuvastatin in the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperlipidemia can effectively regulate the level of glucose and lipid metabolism of patients, reduce oxidative stress injury, and protect vascular endothelial function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
