Effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on arthroscopic joint debridement combined with intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and its influences on the expression of TLR-4 and IL-1β
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on arthroscopic joint debridement combined with intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA)and its influences on the expression of toll-like receptor-4(TLR-4)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β).Methods A total of 50 patients with KOA admitted from January 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.The control group was treated with arthroscopic joint debridement combined with intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma,and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of TLR-4 and IL-1β in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the Lysholm knee score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing for arthroscopic joint debridement combined with intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma in the treatment of KOA has a significant effect.It can not only regulate the expression of TLR-4 and IL-1β,but also promote the recovery of knee joint function,which is worthy of promotion.
