This paper reports the experience of nutritional support nursing for an over-aged patient with small intestine double cavity fistula complicated with acute pancreatitis.The main points of nursing includes that nutritional status assessment,individualized nutritional support program,use of enteral nutrition tolerance assessment management tools and appropriate techniques of traditional Chinese medicine,supplemented by functional exercise and small intestine double-lumen ostomy nursing.After active treatment during the acute pancreatitis period,with early nasal jejunal nutrition and timely adjustment of the nutritional support program to modified(light fasting)feeding,the patient has now basically resumed normal nasal feeding volume with good nutritional status.At present,there are few reports on nutritional support nursing of small intestine double cavity fistula complicated with acute pancreatitis.The nursing process of this patient is summarized reported in order to provide reference for more patients.
