Objective To compare the effect of arthroscopic small incision surgery and total shoulder arthroscopic surgery in the treatment of rotator cuff injury. Methods The clinical data of 60 patients with rotator cuff injury admitted in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into control group and study group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received total shoulder arthroscopic surgery, and the study group received arthroscopic small incision surgery. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the operation time between the two groups(P>0.05);the intraoperative blood loss in the study group was less than that in the control group, and the incision length and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 93.33%,which was higher than 73.33%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of C-reactive protein(CRP)in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the acromion-humeral head distance(A-H)and the upward migration index(UMI)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the ranges of motion of flexion, abduction and neutral external rotation in the study group were larger than those in the control group, and the Constant score of shoulder joint was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with total shoulder arthroscopic surgery, arthroscopic small incision surgery for rotator cuff injury can obtain better surgical effect, and is more conducive to promoting the recovery of shoulder joint function,it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
