Effect of phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined with capsular tension ring implantation in the treatment of high myopia with cataract and its influences on intraocular lens stability and visual acuity
Objective To analyze the effect of phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined with capsular tension ring implantation in the treatment of high myopia with cataract.Methods A total of 90 patients with high myopia and cataract admitted from February 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with phacoemulsification cataract extraction,and the observation group was treated with capsular tension ring implantation on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results At 6 months after operation,the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),corneal endothelial cell density and hexagonal cell percentage of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the central corneal thickness was smaller than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 3 and 6 months after operation,the crystal eccentricity and tilt angle of the observation group were smaller than those of the control group(P<0.05).At 6 months after operation,the trefoil aberration,total higher-order aberration,spherical aberration and coma aberration in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined with capsular tension ring implantation in the treatment of high myopia with cataract can improve the stability of intraocular lens,improve corneal quality,reduce the risk of postoperative complications and promote visual acuity recovery,which is worthy of promotion.
