Objective To investigate the effects of hemolysis of clinical biochemical test specimens on liver and kidney function, blood lipids and myocardial markers and countermeasures. Methods A total of 120 healthy objects who underwent biochemical tests from March 2021 to September 2022 were selected.10 mL of elbow venous blood was collected as a test sample in the morning on an empty stomach. The blood samples of each physical examinee were divided into 2 samples, which were set as observation group and control group. The blood samples of the observation group were subjected to clinical biochemical tests after hemolysis treatment, and the blood samples of the control group were directly subjected to clinical biochemical tests without hemolysis treatment. The liver function, myocardial markers, renal function and blood lipid indexes of healthy objects in the two groups were compared. Results The levels of aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and total protein(TP)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of creatine kinase MB isoenzyme(CK-MB),creatine kinase(CK)and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr)and uric acid(UA)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no significant differences in the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Hemolytic reaction of blood samples in clinical biochemical test will affect the test results of liver and kidney function, blood lipid, myocardial markers and other test items, which will easily lead to errors in biochemical test results. In clinical diagnosis and treatment, full attention should be paid to this and a series of response measures should be formulated.
