Application effect of nasal sinus irrigation combined with budesonide nasal spray in nasal mucosa repair after functional endoscopic sinus surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of nasal sinus irrigation combined with budesonide nasal spray in nasal mucosa repair after functional endoscopic sinus surgery.Methods A total of 116 patients with functional endoscopic sinus surgery admitted in our hospital from January 2012 to March 2015 were selected as research objects,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 58 cases in each group.The control group was treated with budesonide nasal spray after functional endoscopic sinus surgery,while the observation group was treated with nasal sinus irrigation on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results At 28 d after treatment,the scores of Sino-Nasal Outcome Test-20(SNOT-20)and Lund-Kennedy in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 28 d after treatment,the levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ),interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-2(IL-2)and interleukin-5(IL-5)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 28 d after treatment,the nasal ventilation area of the observation group was larger than that of the control group,the nasal airway resistance was lower than that of the control group,and the cilia movement rate was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nasal sinus irrigation combined with budesonide nasal spray for nasal mucosal repair after functional endoscopic sinus surgery can not only improve the clinical symptoms of patients,regulate the levels of nasal mucosal inflammatory factors,but also promote the nasal mucosa repair,recovery of nasal function and cilia function,which is worthy of promotion.
