Objective To analyze the application effect of evidence-based nursing combined with root cause analysis in patients with dysphagia after stroke. Methods A total of 100 patients with dysphagia after stroke who received rehabilitation treatment from June 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the study group was given evidence-based nursing combined with root cause analysis intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Exercise of Self Care Agency Scale(ESCA)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of Water Swallowing Test(WST)and Standardized Swallowing Assessment(SSA)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the Barthel index and Swallowing Quality of Life Questionnaire(SWAL-QOL)scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of total protein(TP),hemoglobin(HB)and albumin(ALB)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of nursing in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based nursing combined with root cause analysis is effective in the rehabilitation of patients with dysphagia after stroke, which can effectively ameliorate the swallowing function and nutritional status of patients, and improve their self-care ability, daily living ability and quality of life.
