Effects of lifestyle intervention based on planned behavior theory combined with peer education on health behavior and blood glucose variability in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To analyze the effects of lifestyle intervention based on planned behavior theory combined with peer education on health behavior and blood glucose variability in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 70 GDM patients admitted from March 2019 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given lifestyle intervention based on planned behavior theory combined with peer education on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of health awareness, health attitude and health behavior in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the coefficient of variation of blood glucose(CV)and coefficient of variation of fasting blood glucose(CV-FBG)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Lifestyle intervention based on planned behavior theory combined with peer education can improve the health behavior of GDM patients, ameliorate blood glucose variability, and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
