Effects of cluster airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with negative pressure sputum suction on sputum excretion and blood gas analysis indexes in patients with tracheal intubation
Objective To explore the effects of cluster airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with negative pressure sputum suction on sputum excretion and blood gas analysis indexes in patients with tracheal intubation. Methods A total of 85 patients with tracheal intubation admitted in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group(42 cases)and observation group(43 cases). The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given cluster airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with negative pressure sputum suction on the basis of routine nursing. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total incidence of airway-related complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The sputum volume of the observation group was more than that of the control group, the proportion of sputum viscosity Ⅰ degree was higher than that of the control group, and the proportion of sputum viscosity Ⅲ degree was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)and pH value in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cluster airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with negative pressure sputum suction can reduce airway-related complications in patients with tracheal intubation, ameliorate sputum excretion effect, reduce sputum viscosity, improve blood gas analysis indexes, decrease the incidence of adverse events, and elevate nursing satisfaction.
