Analysis of influencing factors of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods A total of 166 newly diagnosed T2DM patients who were hospitalized in the endocrinology department of our hospital from 2019 to 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the results of abdominal B-ultrasound examination and the relevant diagnostic criteria, the patients were divided into T2DM complicated with NAFLD group(113 cases)and simple T2DM group(53 cases). The general data of all patients were collected, including gender, age, weight, body mass index(BMI),systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP);the biochemical indexes of the two groups were detected, including glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),fasting blood glucose(FBG),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of T2DM complicated with NAFLD.Results There were no significant differences in age,SBP and DBP between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);there was significant difference in gender between the two groups of patients(P<0.05);the body weight and BMI of the T2DM complicated with NAFLD group were higher than those of the simple T2DM group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in FBG,TC and HDL-C levels between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);the levels of HbA1c and LDL-C in the T2DM complicated with NAFLD group were lower than those in the simple T2DM group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the level of TG in the T2DM complicated with NAFLD group was higher than that in the simple T2DM group(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis results showed that gender, weight,HbAlc and TG were the influencing factors for T2DM complicated with NAFLD(P<0.05).Conclusion Gender, weight,HbAlc and TG are influencing factors for newly diagnosed T2DM complicated with NAFLD,clinical screening should be carry out for female, obese, low HbAlc and high TG level patients to further prevent and intervene the occurrence of T2DM complicated with NAFLD,and corresponding mearsures should be taken for influencing factors.
