Objective To investigate the effects of mandibular adsorption denture repair on language function and masticatory function in patients with complete edentulous jaw. Methods A total of 80 patients with complete edentulous jaws admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional denture repair, and the observation group was treated with mandibular adsorption denture repair. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of denture stability, language function, wearing comfort and masticatory function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the masticatory efficacy and bite force of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The mandibular adsorption denture repair in patients with complete edentulous jaw has a significant application effect,it can ameliorate the stability and comfort of denture wearing, improve language function and masticatory function, promote oral masticatory efficiency and bite force, and has high patients'satisfaction and low risk of complications.
