Effect of tendon acupuncture combined with sitting knee adjustment in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis
Objective To explore the effect of tendon acupuncture combined with sitting knee adjustment in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods A total of 79 patients who were diagnosed with KOA in Xuzhou Central Hospital from January 2019 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group(39 cases)and intervention group(40 cases)by random number table method.The control group was treated with traditional massage,and the intervention group was treated with tendon acupuncture combined with sitting knee adjustment.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)score of the two groups increased,and that in the intervention group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the modified Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)score of the two groups decreased,and that in the intervention group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The tendon acupuncture combined with sitting knee adjustment can reduce the severity of KOA patients,and has good treatment effect,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
