Effects of health education based on empowerment theory combined with family collaborative nursing on self-care ability and quality of life of patients with melanoma immunotherapy
Objective To explore the effects of health education based on empowerment theory combined with family collaborative nursing on self-care ability and quality of life of patients with melanoma immunotherapy.Methods A total of 110 patients with melanoma immunotherapy admitted from June 2019 to October 2021 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,while the observation group was given health education based on empowerment theory combined with family collaborative nursing on the basis of the control group.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of each dimension of Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of Fear Visual Analogue Scale(FAVS),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of function,symptoms,quality of life and overall health status in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The health education based on empowerment theory combined with family collaborative nursing can effectively improve the self-care ability of patients,reduce their fear of disease,make them actively cooperate with treatment,and improve the quality of life.
