Value of pharmacist medical record review and adverse drug reaction monitoring in the rational use of anesthetic and psychotropic drugs in clinical practice
Objective To explore the value of combined use of pharmacist medical record review and adverse drug reaction monitoring in promoting the rational use of anesthetic and psychotropic drugs.Methods A total of 180 archived medical records from January to June 2022 in Hengli Hospital of Dongguan were randomly selected as control group,and 180 archived medical records from July to December 2022 were selected as observation group.The control group was adopted with routine medical record management,and the observation group was adopted with pharmacist medical record review and adverse drug reaction monitoring on the basis of routine medical record management.The irrational use of anesthetic and psychotropic drugs and hospitalization satisfaction of patients were compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence of irrational use of anesthetic and psychotropic drugs in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The very satisfactory rate and comparative satisfaction rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the comparative dissatisfaction rate and very dissatisfaction rate were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of pharmacist medical record review and adverse drug reaction monitoring can ensure the rationality of the clinical use of anesthetic and psychotropic drugs,so as to improve the treatment effect and patient satisfaction.
