Effects of orthokeratology lens combined with atropine eye gel on visual acuity and ocular comprehensive state in children with myopia
Objective To analyze the effects of orthokeratology lens combined with atropine eye gel on visual acuity and ocular comprehensive state in children with myopia.Methods A total of 80 children with myopia admitted from January 2019 to January 2022 were included as the study subjects and randomly divided into conventional group(40 cases,routine frame glasses combined with atropine eye gel)and observation group(40 cases,orthokeratology lens combined with atropine eye gel).The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the horizontal corneal curvature of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the conventional group,and best corrected distance visual acuity(BCDVA),best corrected near visual acuity(BCNVA)and naked eye vision were significantly higher than those of the conventional group(P＜0.05).After treatment,spherical equivalent(SE)and central corneal thickness(CCT)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group,and axial length(AL),anterior chamber depth(ACD)and lens thickness(LT)were significantly higher than those in the conventional group(P＜0.05).After treatment,positive correlation regulation(PRA)and accommodative lag(LAG)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group,and negative correlation regulation(NRA),accommodative amplitude(AA)and accommodative sensitiivity(AS)were significantly higher than those in the conventional group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Orthokeratology lens combined with atropine eye gel in the treatment of children with myopia has an obvious effect.It can quickly improve the degree of myopia in children,control the development of myopia,and has high safety.
