Application effect of Habilitation Plus nursing model in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
Objective To investigate the effects of Habilitation Plus nursing model on cognitive function,psychological and behavioral symptoms,caregiver distress and activity of daily living of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods A total of 180 patients with mild to moderate AD admitted in our department from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method,with 90 cases in each group.The control group implemented the Habilitation nursing model,and the experimental group implemented the Habilitation Plus nursing model.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,the psychological and behavioral symptoms,level of caregiver distress and Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL)scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The Habilitation Plus nursing model is simple and easy to implement.It can delay the decline of cognitive function in patients with mild to moderate AD to a certain extent,improve mental and behavioral abnormalities,reduce the caregiver distress,and elevate activity of daily living.
