Effects of comprehensive nursing intervention based on nursing procedure combined with improved communication skills on crying resistance behavior and medical fear in children with pneumonia treated by atomization inhalation
Objective To explore the effects of comprehensive nursing intervention based on nursing procedure combined with improved communication skills on crying resistance behavior and medical fear in children with pneumonia treated by atomization inhalation. Methods From January 2020 to June 2022,120 children with pneumonia treated by atomization inhalation were selected and divided into control group(routine nursing)and observation group(routine nursing+comprehensive nursing intervention based on nursing procedure combined with improved communication skills)by lottery method, with 60 cases in each group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of voice, limb movement, facial expression and comfortability in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of the Child Medical Fear Scale(CMFS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the peak expiratory flow(PEF),functional residual capacity(FRC)and forced expiratory flow at 25%(FEF25%)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention based on nursing procedure combined with improved communication skills can improve the crying resistance behavior of children with pneumonia during atomization inhalation treatment, alleviate medical fear, and elevate the effect of atomization inhalation treatment, which is worthy of promotion.
