Predictive value of CT scoring system combined with MPV and RDW for the prognosis of patients with acute pancreatitis
Objective To analyze the predictive value of CT scoring system combined with mean platelet volume(MPV)and red blood cell distribution width(RDW)in the prognosis of patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods One hundred and six patients with acute pancreatitis admitted in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2022 were selected for retrospective analysis.According to the prognosis, the patients were divided into death group(16 cases)and survival group(90 cases). The general data and laboratory indexes of the two groups were compared;the predictive efficacy of CT scoring system combined with MPV and RDW on the prognosis of patients with acute pancreatitis was analyzed. Results The Acute Physiology and Chronic Health EvaluationⅡ(APACHE Ⅱ),Modified CT Severity Index(MCTSI)scores,MPV and RDW in the death group were higher than those in the survival group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that APACHE Ⅱ,MCTSI scores,MPV and RDW were risk factors for poor prognosis in patients with acute pancreatitis(P<0.05).The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of combined prediction of CT scoring system,MPV and RDW on prognosis in patients with acute pancreatitis were significantly higher than those of CT scoring system and MPV and RDW(P<0.05).Conclusion CT scoring system combined with MPV and RDW has a high predictive value for the prognosis of patients with acute pancreatitis.
