Effect of Xiaoer Feike granules combined with azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children and its influences on serum complement and Clara cell secretory protein levels
Objective To investigate the effect of Xiaoer Feike granules combined with azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children and its influences on serum complement and Clara cell secretory protein(CCSP)levels. Methods A total of 218 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia admitted from May to October 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment schemes, with 109 cases in each group. The control group was treated with azithromycin, and the observation group was treated with Xiaoer Feike granules on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of fever, cough, wheezing and pulmonary rales in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of CCSP,complement C3 and complement C4 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Xiaoer Feike granules combined with azithromycin can reduce the inflammatory response in children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia, shorten the disappearance time of clinical symptoms, improve immune function and clinical efficacy, and have high safety.
