Effects of Xiaoer Dingchuan oral liquid combined with methylprednisolone sodium succinate on arterial blood gas indexes and levels of IL-8,TNF-α and IgE in children with severe bronchial asthma
Objective To investigate the effects of Xiaoer Dingchuan oral liquid combined with methylpred-nisolone sodium succinate on arterial blood gas indexes and levels of interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and immunoglobulin E(IgE)in children with severe bronchial asthma.Methods A total of 100 children with severe bronchial asthma admitted in our hospital were selected and divided into control group(50 cases,treated with methylprednisolone sodium succinate)and observation group(50 cases,treated with methylprednisolone sodium succinate+Xiaoer Dingchuan oral liquid)according to different treatment methods.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the partial pressure of oxygen(PO2)and pulse oxygen saturation(SPO2)of the two groups increased,the partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PCO2)decreased,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin A(IgA)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the IgE level was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-8,TNF-α and leukotriene(LT)in the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Xiaoer Dingchuan oral liquid combined with methylprednisolone sodium succinate in the treatment of children with severe bronchial asthma can effectively improve arterial blood gas indexes,reduce inflammatory response and elevate immune function.
