Effects of Tiaozhong Jianpi decoction on gastric emptying function and brain-gut axis related factors of functional dyspepsia patients with spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation
Objective To investigate the effects of Tiaozhong Jianpi decoction on gastric emptying function and brain-gut axis related factors of functional dyspepsia(FD)patients with spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation.Methods A total of 84 FD patients with spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation admitted from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method,with 42 cases in each group.The control group was treated with domperidone tablets orally,and the study group received combined treatment with Tiaozhong Jianpi decoction.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the 1-hour postprandial gastric emptying rate,2-hour postprandial gastric emptying rate and gastric antral contraction rate of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,the gastric half emptying time was significantly shorter than that before treatment,and those in the study group were better than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of neuropeptide S receptor 1(NPSR1),Ghrelin and motilin(MTL)in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,while the levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),substance P(SP),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)and cholecystokinin octapeptide(CCK8)were significantly lower than those before treatment,and those in the study group were better than the control group(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate in the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the quality of life score of both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment,and that in the study group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Tiaozhong Jianpi decoction can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of FD patients with spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation,regulate the levels of brain-gut axis related factors,improve gastric emptying function and quality of life,and reduce the recurrence rate.
