Effects of the No.1 Shangke prescription acupoint application combined with thermosensitive moxibustion on pain and knee joint function of knee osteoarthritis
Objective To observe the effect of No.1 Shangke prescription acupoint application combined with thermosensitive moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods According to the random number table method,88 patients with KOA were divided into control group and study group, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment, and the study group was given the No.1 Shangke prescription acupoint application combined with thermosensitive moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC),Lequesne scores, prostaglandin E2,substance P,5-hydroxytryptamine,C-terminal telopeptide of type Ⅰ collagen(CTX-Ⅰ),cartilage oligomeric matrix protein(COMP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1[3(IL-1β)and interleukin-17(IL-17)levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the osteocalcin and osteoprotegerin levels in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those in the study group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The No.1 Shangke prescription acupoint application combined with thermosensitive moxibustion can improve the knee joint function of KOA patients, relieve pain, regulate bone metabolism indexes, reduce the level of inflammatory factors, and improve the clinical effect.
