Effects of Newman system nursing on psychological stress and postoperative complications in patients undergoing pelvic floor reconstruction
Objective To explore the effects of Newman system nursing on psychological stress and postoperative complications in patients undergoing pelvic floor reconstruction.Methods A total of 134 patients treated with pelvic floor reconstruction in our hospital from July 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 67 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was treated with Newman system nursing on the basis of routine nursing.The nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the scores of disease cognition,operation cognition and nursing cognition in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ-9)and Visual Analogue Score(VAS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative exhaust time,hospitalization time and complete wound recovery time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Newman system nursing can improve the cognition of patients with pelvic floor reconstruction,reduce psychological stress and pain,diminish complications,and promote the recovery of patients.
