Influences of continuous nursing based on timing theory combined with"psycho-cardiacology"nursing on health promotion behavior and mood state of elderly patients with chronic heart failure
Objective To explore the application effect of continuous nursing based on timing theory combined with"psycho-cardiacology"nursing in elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with chronic heart failure admitted in our hospital were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group carried out continuous nursing based on the timing theory combined with"psycho-cardiacology"nursing on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ(HPLP-Ⅱ),Self-Care of Heart Failure Index(SCHFI)and Brief Profile of Mood State Short Form(BPOMS-SF)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the score of Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ)was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the metabolic equivalents(METs)and peak oxygen uptake(VO2peak)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the ventilatory equivalent for carbon dioxide slope(VE/VCO2 slope)was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The continuous nursing based on the timing theory combined with"psycho-cardiacology"nursing can improve the health promotion behavior and mood state of patients, enhance the quality of life and self-care ability, and regulate the cardiopulmonary function.
