Application effect of nursing intervention based on interaction model of client health behavior in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Objective To analyze the application effect of nursing intervention based on interaction model of client health behavior(IMCHB)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 105 patients with T2DM admitted in Nanyang Tumor Hospital from January 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the different admission time, the patients were divided into routine group(January 2020 to August 2021,52 cases)and study group(September 2021 to May 2022,53 cases). The routine group was given routine nursing intervention, and the study group was given nursing intervention based on IMCHB on the basis of the routine group. The compliance behavior,self-care ability, psychological state and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total compliance rate of the study group was 92.45%,which was higher than 75.00%of the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the scores of Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA),Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21(DASS-21)and revised Diabetes Mellitus Quality of Life Scale(DMQLS)between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the scores of ESCA and the revised DMQLS of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the DASS-21 score was lower than that before intervention, and the study group were better than the routine group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing intervention based on IMCHB applied in T2DM patients can improve patients'compliance behavior, promote mental health, elevate self-care ability, and then improve the quality of life, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
