Application value of micro column gel technology in the diagnosis of ABO incompatible hemolytic disease of newborn and pre-transfusion test
Objective To analyze the application value of micro column gel technology(MCGT)in the diagnosis of ABO hemolytic disease of newborn(HDN)and pre-transfusion test. Methods A total of 200 children with ABO-HDN admitted from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. In addition,5 blood samples of ABO homotypic red blood cell preparations in the same period were randomly selected for the main-side cross-matching test.Cross matching of blood was carried out by MCGT and manual polybrene test(MPT).The test results of the two techniques were compared. Results A total of 1 000 times of cross matching were performed, and 740 and 575 times of serum and release liquid of MCGT were not matched;40 and 55 times of serum and release liquid of MPT were not matched. The cross-matching incompatibility rate of MCGT serum and release liquid were higher than those of MPT,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of MCGT were higher than those of MPT,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In ABO-HDN diagnosis and pre-transfusion test, the blood test incompatibility rate of MCGT is higher, and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy are higher than those of MPT.
