Clinical effect of acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of cervical spondylosis based on neck anatomy
Objective To explore the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture-moxibustion therapy in cervical spondylosis based on neck muscle,and to provide some reference for the accurate selection of acupoints and acupuncture methods.Methods Thirty patients with cervical spondylosis were selected,the shape and target area of the patients'head,neck and shoulder were examined by"looking"and"touching"methods to determine the position of muscles and acupuncture.Short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire-2(SF-MPQ-2),Clinical Assessment Scale for Cervical Spondylosis(CASCS),Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ),and the Neck Disability Index(NDI)scores were compared at different times;the clinical and follow-up effects of 30 patients with cervical spondylosis were analyzed.Results After the first,second and third cycles of treatment,the SF-MPQ-2 score of patients with cervical spondylosis was lower than that before the first,second and third cycles of treatment,and the CASCS score was higher than that before the first,second and third cycles of treatment(P<0.05).At the end of treatment and 1 month after treatment,the NPQ and NDI scores of patients with cervical spondylosis were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The total effective rate of 30 patients with cervical spondylosis was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of follow-up was 76.67%.Conclusion Acupuncture-moxibustion therapy can significantly improve the patients'neck symptoms,and the effect can last for more than 1 month.The combination of"looking"and"touching"can effectively improve the accuracy of acupuncture-moxibustion,and has safe operation.
