Clinical effect of Yifei Yangyin Pingchuan decoction combined with budesonide in the treatment of bronchial asthma in children and its influence on prognosis
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Yifei Yangyin Pingchuan decoction combined with budesonide in the treatment of bronchial asthma(BA)in children.Methods A total of 86 children with BA admitted in the pediatrics department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Fufeng from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.The children were divided into western medicine group(43 cases,budesonide)and Chinese-western combination group(43 cases,Yifei Yangyin Pingchuan decoction combined with budesonide)according to different treatment measures.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the Chinese-western combination group was higher than that in the western medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of leukotriene B4(LTB4),interleukin-2(IL-2),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the Chinese-western combination group were lower than those in the western medicine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the tidal volume per kilogram(VT/kg),respiratory rate(RR),peak expiratory flow(PEF),ratio of the time to reach peak tidal expiratory flow to total expiratory time(TPTEF/TE),maximum vital capacity(VCmax)and maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV)in the Chinese-western combination group were better than those in the western medicine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the Chinese-western combination group was lower than that in the western medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Yifei Yangyin Pingchuan decoction combined with budesonide in the treatment of BA children can achieve safe and efficient ideal results,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
