Effects of continuous nursing based on motivation protection theory combined with feedback health education on home wound repair management ability and disease self-perceived burden of diabetic foot patients
Objective To explore the effects of continuous nursing based on motivation protection theory combined with feedback health education on home wound repair management ability and disease self-perceived burden of diabetic foot patients. Methods A total of 120 patients with diabetic foot admitted from January 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was treated with continuous nursing based on motivation protection theory combined with feedback health education on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of risk factors of diabetic foot, daily foot care, footwear selection and exercise of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of disease monitoring and control management, foot care management and daily life management in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 18.33%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous nursing based on motivation protection theory combined with feedback health education can improve the disease cognition level and home wound repair management ability of diabetic foot patients, and decline the incidence of adverse events, which is worthy of promotion.
