Meta-analysis of the efficacy and safety of single-use flexible ureteroscope and reusable flexible ureteroscope in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculi
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of single-use flexible ureteroscope(su-FURS)and reusable flexible ureteroscope(ru-FURS)in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculi.Methods PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Wanfang,VIP and CNKI databases were searched by computer from the establishment of the database to August 13,2023.Randomized controlled trials(RCT)of su-FURS and ru-FURS in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculi were collected.Stata15.0 software was used for Meta-analysis of the included literature.Results A total of 8 articles were included,with a total of 1 338 patients.The results of Meta-analysis showed that there were no significant differences in stone clearance rate,operation time,hospitalization time,postoperative hemoglobin decrease value and complication rate between su-FURS and ru-FURS in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculi(P＞0.05).Conclusion There are no significant differences in the efficacy and safety between su-FURS and ru-FURS in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculi,but su-FURS is more cost-effective and worthy of popularization and application.
