Effects of Taohong Siwu decoction combined with bonesetting and tendon manipulation+splint external fixation on pain degree and limb function of patients with distal radius fracture after operation
Objective To explore the effects of Taohong Siwu decoction combined with bonesetting and tendon manipulation+splint external fixation on pain degree and limb function of patients with distal radius fracture after operation.Methods A total of 82 patients with distal radius fractures after operation treated in our hospital from January 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects,the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with bonesetting and tendon manipulation+splint external fixation,and the observation group was given Taohong Siwu decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)and swelling degree scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the Cooney wrist function score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the whole blood high shear viscosity,whole blood middle shear viscosity and whole blood low shear viscosity in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2)and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Taohong Siwu decoction combined with bonesetting and tendon manipulation+splint external fixation can reduce the pain and swelling degree of patients with distal radius fracture after operation,promote the recovery of wrist joint function,improve hemorheology,and increase the secretion of fracture repair factors.
