Clinical effect of Yiyuan Qingfei decoction in the treatment of elderly patients with severe pneumonia of Qi deficiency and lung heat syndrome and its influences on airway remodeling,TLR4 and sTREM-1 levels
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Yiyuan Qingfei decoction in the treatment of elderly patients with severe pneumonia of Qi deficiency and lung heat syndrome.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with severe pneumonia of Qi deficiency and lung heat syndrome admitted from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Yiyuan Qingfei decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),osteopontin(OPN)and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of Toll like receptor 4(TLR4)and soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1(sTREM-1)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yiyuan Qingfei decoction has a good effect in the treatment of elderly patients with severe pneumonia of Qi deficiency and lung heat syndrome,it can improve airway remodeling and inhibit the levels of TLR4 and sTREM-1,which is worthy of promotion.
